Meet Adianna: A giggly girl who loves to learn

It’s easy to make 5-year-old Adianna laugh.

She laughs when talking about kindergarten. She laughs when talking about Disney heroines, especially Queen Elsa of Frozen. She even laughs when talking about broccoli and Brussels sprouts – two of her favorite foods.

“Her giggle will fill your house for hours and hours,” says Lisa, Adianna’s current foster mother.

Adianna, also known as Adi, started kindergarten this year and is an enthusiastic student.

“Adi is very excited to be in kindergarten,” Lisa says. “The day she started school she woke me up at 5:30 in the morning to remind me that that day she was starting kindergarten.”

Adi is already able to read a little bit and looks forward to the nightly ritual have having stories read to her.

Adi loves to get her nails painted, so a manicure with Queen Elsa (played by Karissa Self of Storybook Entertainment) pressed a lot of her happy buttons. The two also did some crafts and joined in to sing “Let It Go” from the Frozen soundtrack.

Adi is a bundle of energy and her forever family needs to include two parents. She should be an only child or the youngest child in the family. Having an older sister as a role model would be wonderful for Adi, says her foster mother.

“Adi’s forever family will definitely need to be strong advocates for her in the school system,” adds Lisa.
