Yuma County woman killed after being run over by her own Jeep, sheriff says

A woman died Wednesday night after her vehicle rolled over her and pinned her, according to the Yuma County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say alcohol was a factor in the incident.

According to the sheriff's office, 63-year-old Monica Tuggle got out of her 2013 Jeep Compass in a neighborhood near Yuma, but failed to put the vehicle in park. It rolled backwards and she was pinned underneath.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to YCSO.
