PHOENIX - Arizona had some record-setting heat on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
Phoenix set a new daily record high at 89 degrees. The previous record was 88 degrees in 1950.
Yuma also set a new daily record high at 90 degrees. It was also the latest 90-degree day, breaking the record of Nov. 25 set in 1950.
