Google tips off cops to Arizona child pornography user

PHOENIX - Authorities arrested a Mesa man who admitted, according to court documents, to possessing over 20 images and videos of child pornography on his cellphone.

According to court documents, detectives tracked 41-year-old Shawn Fishman from a peer-to-peer file sharing site know to be used to share child pornography.

Google also gave detectives a tip that an IP address belonging to Fishman was being used to upload child pornography.

According to court paperwork, Fishman told detectives he has a sexual addiction and sought out these images for his gratification.

Fishman was booked Wednesday on four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
