Arizona lawmaker enters plea deal in food stamp fraud case

Velasquez to be sentenced in December.

PHOENIX - State representative Cecilia Velasquez has entered a plea deal after she was indicted for food stamp fraud.

Velasquez pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful use of food stamps -- a misdemeanor.

The plea deal calls for probation, restitution and 100 hours of community service.

Sentencing is set for Dec. 1.
