3 officers shoot, kill man brandishing gun near Flagstaff Walmart

Police said the man shot at officers in a Walmart parking lot before they shot and killed him.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -  Flagstaff police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that resulted in the death of a suspect.

According to police, the shooting occurred just before 10 p.m. Thursday after police were called to the parking lot of a Walmart off Huntington Drive regarding reports of a man with a gun.

Police said 29-year-old Sean D. Brady fired at the responding officers and the officers returned fire, killing Brady.

Police said officers Pat Condon, Dustin Hemp and Ryan Sherf involved in the shooting and none of them were injured.

Flagstaff PD found two rifles, a handgun, spent bullet casings and boxes of ammo in Brady's truck.

The officers involved were placed on administrative leave.
