Arizona is the 30th fattest state in the U.S., according to the CDC

Arizona ranks in the middle of the pack for obesity rates in the U.S. That's according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The CDC recently released its list of the fattest states in America. Arizona was number 30.

Mississippi topped the list, while Colorado came in as the "least fat" state.

The numbers show most people have room for health improvement, finding seven out of 10 U.S. adults age 20 or older are either overweight or obese.
