PHOENIX - Phoenix Police and Silent Witness are offering up to a $1,000 reward to find the men who robbed a cell phone store and Circle K.

The cell phone store robbery happened when a man walked into the Metro PCS store at 26th Street and Bell Road on September 11, 2017. Surveillance video shows he started to ask questions about his phone.

Then the robber pulled out a handgun, pointed it directly at a store clerk and ordered two workers and a customer into the back room.

“It's very brazen and it could be very dangerous,” said Sgt. Jamie Rothschild, who’s with Silent Witness. “He has that gun tucked in his pants. He could've shot himself. He could've shot someone else. And it's all just for money.”

Sgt. Rothschild said the robber ordered the workers to open up the safe. When they couldn't, he stole money from the registers and ran away.

The Cirlce K robbery happened when a man walked into the store at 31st Street and Broadway on October 18, 2017. He asked the clerk for a dozen packs of cigarettes.

"The clerk starts to ring it up,” Sgt. Rothschild said, “When the suspect reaches under his shirt, acts like he has a weapon and asks the clerk, ‘You don't want to get shot, do you?’"

At that point, the man took the cigarettes and ran away.

If you recognize either of the robbers, you're asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. You can remain anonymous and receive a reward of up to $1,000.
