PHOENIX - Westbound Interstate 10 has reopened ahead of schedule from the Interstate 17 "Split" interchange near Sky Harbor Airport to the Stack west of Downtown Phoenix, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The westbound lanes were originally scheduled to remain closed until 10 p.m. Saturday for deck joing maintenance at the Deck Park tunnel.

Westbound lanes in I-10 remain closed between 43rd and 59th avenues until 5 a.m. Monday for construction of the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway interchange.

ADOT said alternate routes include McDowell Road or Van Buren Street.
