Even though are there are no freeway closures, commuters still should be aware of a ongoing restrictions around the Valley.

Remember to drive with caution when approaching and traveling through existing work zones, like the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway interchange work zone along the I-10 between 43rd and 75th avenues in west Phoenix.

The Renaissance Festival is in town through April 1, so the US 60 near Apache Junction and Gold Canyon areas will have heavier weekend traffic at times. Please allow extra travel time and be prepared for slow traffic. Use caution, especially near festival parking lot access points.

The final reminder is that 59th Avenue and Southern Avenue is closed now until March of this year. This closure takes place due to the South Mountain Freeway construction. Some alternate roads to consider are Broadway or Baseline between 51st and 67th Avenues
