It’s business as usual for the Arizona Wildcats. They are moving on in the Pac-12 Tournament after beating Colorado 83-67.

The Wildcats (25-7) turned in one of their best defensive performances in recent weeks in the quarterfinals, holding the Buffaloes to 67 points after they dropped 97 points in their opening round win vs Arizona State.

Arizona moves on to play UCLA (21-10) in the semifinals on Friday at 7 p.m. The Bruins are one of two Pac-12 teams Arizona hasn’t beaten this season.

UCLA upset the Wildcats back in Tucson in February.

Senior center Dusan Ristic lead the Thursday game with 16 points. Former Hillcrest Prep star Deandre Ayton fouled out with 3:30 to go. Ayton finished with 10 points. Even though he didn’t have a double-double, Ayton is still one of the most talked about players in basketball.

12 Sports Cameron Cox caught up with Ayton after the game.
