PHOENIX - The letters “KKK” were keyed on multiple cars at the Silver Creek Apartments. Phoenix police say at least nine vehicles were keyed sometime between Friday night and early Saturday morning.
There is no word yet on a possible suspect or suspects, but victims aren’t holding back expressing their frustrations.
“As I got closer and I see the hood of my car… I wanted to cry. I’m just like, ‘Oh,’ and I looked at the side all along that side is just keyed so bad,” said Tina Contreras. She ran out to check her car after being notified by a neighbor.
Another woman, who did not want to be identified, had her brand new car keyed all the way around.
“It’s devastating, really. I mean I’ve had the car a month and they trashed it,” she said.
But what’s even more upsetting for those affected is the ongoing sense of hate with hurtful messages left on innocent people’s property.
