Chandler FD: 2 taken to hospital, 5 more injured in crash

CHANDLER, Ariz. - Chandler Fire Department said a two-vehicle crash injured seven people Sunday afternoon, including at least one teenager.

One of the vehicles involved was a pickup truck with two teenagers riding in the back of the truck, Chandler fire said.

One of the teens was fell out of the truck upon impact and was transported to the hospital. A second person was transported to the hospital as a delayed patient. Chandler Police Department said the injuries are not life-threatening.

The crash happened near Hartford Street and Ray Road.

The other five patients were evaluated on scene but not transported to the hospital.

Chandler FD didn't immediately release information on the ages or sexes of the patients. It is also unknown if speed was a factor in the crash.
