Donate your airline miles and Make-A-Wish come true

Make-A-Wish Arizona needs 96 million airline miles to help kids reach their wish destinations each year.

You can help make a wish come true by simply donating your airline miles.

Nationally Make-A-Wish needs more than 2.8 billion airline miles to cover every travel wish each year. In Arizona alone it's nearly 10 million miles!

That's why 12 News is proud to partner for a special Give Wishes Wings airline miles drive on Tuesday, April 3.

Stephen is among those in Arizona who had their wish granted. He loved swimming on his high school team until he was diagnosed with lymphoblastic lukemia. He underwent chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. During his months in recovery Stephen was referred to Make-A-Wish Arizona. His wish a surf adventure in Hawaii. Not only did he learn how to surf, but Stephen's cancer is in remission.

If you want to help kids like Stephen make their wish come true, tune in April 3 to 12 News Today, First at 4, 12 News at 5 and Arizona Nightly News. You'll be able to donate your un-used frequent flier miles to Make-A-Wish Arizona by calling during the newscasts. The goal is to raise 3 million miles in one day.
