Macy’s is hiring an additional 7,000 employees because of an uptick in customer traffic.

Sites like Snagajob show current seasonal openings with Macy’s, Under Armor, Kohls, Lowes, and Fry's to name a few.

But retail isn't your only option when it comes to making extra money.

Here are the top five holiday side hustle jobs that you might not think about:

1. Run errands: Everybody is busy during the holidays so help out by taking on someone’s to do list. Be a personal shopper for groceries or gifts, deliver food and more. You can sign up on sites like Task Rabbit. Simply make a profile with what you offer and customers will find you while searching for what they need done.

2. Sell unwanted clutter: Post old clothes, furniture, decorations, electronics, and more on dozens of sites including Ebay, Craigslist, OfferUp and Facebook Marketplace for cash.

3. Decorate: Help decorate your neighbors' houses for the holidays. Pick up work by handing out flyers offering to hang lights or put up decorations.
