Grilled Chicken Sliders

Chef Matthew Grunwald makes us some delicious barbecue chicken sliders.

1 pound ground chicken
1 bunch scallions
2 teaspoons koshers
2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper Cooking spray
6 whole wheat slider buns
1 shallot, peeled and sliced
2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
3 Tablespoons brown sugar
3 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire
Extra-virgin olive oil 
Heat a grill pan to medium high heat.  
Mix together the chicken, scallions, salt and pepper.  Form the mix into 6 slider patties.  Spray the patties with cooking spray and place in the hot grill.  Grill the chicken sliders for 2-minutes and 30-seconds on each side.
In a separate pan, heat 2 teaspoons of extra-virgin olive oil to medium heat.  Sauté the shallot and the garlic for 1-minute.  Add the remaining ingredients and cook until the sauce becomes syrupy.  Serve on the sliders.
