There are 6 Valley billionaires on the Forbes weathiest Americans list

The Forbes list of the 400 richest people in the United States is full of wealthy mainstays like Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffett and Larry Ellison.

The 2017 list also features six billionaires who call the Phoenix-area home.

The richest Arizonan has a net worth over $4 billion, according to Forbes.

Here are the six Arizonans in order by their appearance on the Forbes 400 list:

226. Mark Shoen

Source of wealth, according to Forbes: President and chairman of Amerco, U-Haul's parent company.

Net worth, according to Forbes: $2.8 B

302. Bennett Dorrance

Source of wealth, according to Forbes: Campbell Soup. His grandfather invented the company's condensed soup formula.

315. Bob Parsons
