Man with Parkinson's disease gives inspirational run through 'American Ninja Warrior' course

Amazing. Incredible. Inspirational.

These are just a few of the words you can use to describe Jimmy Choi's run on the show, "American Ninja Warrior."

The 41-year-old tech consultant from Illinois ran the obstacle course  on July 3 and his performance is worth a watch.

While running the course is a feat in and of itself, Choi's run wasn't your average trial. Choi was diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson's disease at 27 years old.

According to the YouTube video, Choi learned that exercise helps manage the disease and began running in marathons. He's completed 13 so far.

Choi ran the course in honor of Team Fox, a part of the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Before the race began, the show aired a special message to Choi from Fox himself.

You can watch American Ninja Warrior Mondays at 8/7c on NBC.
