Light snow falling in Flagstaff, and yes, it's late April

There's a chance for snow and rain from the Rim northward.

Yes, that is snow in Flagstaff!

A weather disturbance in the area is responsible for increased chances of rain and snow through early Friday evening.

A low pressure system is mainly over southeast Utah, while a secondary disturbance is on the west side of the low, increasing moisture in northern Arizona.

It's causing an increased chance for snow and rain from the Mogollon Rim north.

It snowed in downtown Flagstaff at about 11 a.m. Friday.

The weekend through middle next week will bring dry conditions, moderate temperatures and light winds.
