High pressure will remain in control of weather in the Phoenix area for the next two days.

That will keep us dry, sunny and quiet.

Temperatures will moderate back into the 70s by mid-week before a Pacific wave brings more clouds, cooler temperatures and breezier conditions by Thursday and Friday.

That cool-down will be brief before temperatures get close to 80 by Sunday and Monday.
