Blowing dust kicked up in central Arizona Thursday, impacting drivers on I-10 and 347 south of Phoenix.
A Blowing Dust Advisory was issued Thursday afternoon for Northwest Pinal County, South Mountain, Ahwatukee, Southeast Valley, Queen Creek; and West Pinal County South Central Pinal County including Eloy, Picacho Peak State Park. The advisories expire at 7 p.m.
The National Weather Service reported winds over 30 miles per hour, blowing in a southwest direction over northern Pinal County. They warned drivers on I-10 and SR-347 to take caution.
