PHOENIX — A car wreck has closed the southbound lanes of State Route 51 at McDowell Road, on Tuesday.
Arizona Department of Transportation said there are no injuries reported and no estimated time as to when the freeway will be reopened.
Drivers should use alternate routes such as Interstate-17, ADOT said.
Another crash that involved an SUV and a work truck also took place southbound on SR51, south of Indian School Road.
The work truck was overturned during the crash affecting the third lane which is used to merge into traffic southbound.
