PHOENIX - According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, Interstate 10 eastbound has reopened at 7th Street.

A tweet from ADOT said the closure was because of a police situation on an overpass. Westbound traffic had been closed for more than an hour before reopening around 8:30 p.m. Eastbound traffic opened shortly thereafter.

Phoenix police said a man had cut a victim and run away. He was stopped and brought into custody on the overpass. Police stopped traffic on the freeway and used a cherrypicker during the arrest.
