Loop 101 (Pima):
Northbound Loop 101 is closed between Chaparral Road and Shea Boulevard from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. In the meantime, State Route 51 or I-17 may come in handy to get to farther distances while Hayden might do the trick to get you around the nearby area. Expect heavy traffic on Pima, so this road may not be the best alternate. Football fans in the East Valley traveling to Sunday’s Cardinals-Seahawks game should use westbound Loop 202 and I-10, due to Loop 101 closure.
Westbound I-10 is reduced to one lane from Verrado Way and SR 85 from 10 p.m. Friday to 11 p.m. Sunday. Alternates include Yuma or Broadway roads or Southern Avenue to northbound SR 85 to travel beyond I-10 restrictions.
The westbound I-10 ramp to northbound Loop 303 is closed from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. In the meantime, exit the freeway and head northbound on Sarival Avenue to westbound McDowell Road and northbound on Cotton Lane to access Loop 303 via the on-ramp at Thomas Road.
The eastbound I-10 ramp to northbound I-17 at the Stack interchange is off-limits from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. An option during the closure is northbound 27th Avenue and eastbound McDowell Road to access the freeway.
Loop 202 (Santan):
Eastbound Loop 202 is closed between Gilbert and Higley roads from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Saturday. Other go-tos around this road block include US 60 or nearby streets such as Pecos or Germann roads to northbound Val Vista Drive, eastbound Williams Field Road and northbound Higley Road to access Loop 202.
Westbound Loop 202 connection to westbound Pecos Road is closed at I-10 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Both I-10 ramps to westbound Pecos Road are also closed. Eastbound Pecos Road is cut off at 40th Street. Instead, exit the freeway at Kyrene Road, head northbound and use westbound Chandler Boulevard to southbound 40th Street.
SR 347 is narrowed to just one lane in each direction between Riggs and Casa Blanca roads, north of Maricopa, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Plan for delays or consider I-10.
