Phoenix Open: What to know before you go

The beginning of February means the return of the "Greenest Show on Grass."

The "Greatest Show on Grass" is back!

From Jan. 29 - Feb. 4, the 2018 Waste Management Phoenix Open returns to the TPC Scottsdale and golf fans across the Valley are rejoicing.

Large crowds should be expected again this year, barring any severe weather.

If you're planning on heading out to the course this year, here's what you need to know before you go.

When is it?

The tournament festivities begin on Monday, Jan. 29 with the practice rounds. The first round begins Thursday, Feb. 1.

Where is it?

The home of the Phoenix Open is the TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course near the Loop 101 and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard.

How much does it cost?

General admission single-day tickets for Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday are $40, while tickets for Friday and Saturday are $50. Additional ticket packages are available online.

Where should I park?

Fans will have several options for parking, but free public parking will be available in Lot H at Loop 101 and Hayden Road. For a map of all the parking options, visit the Phoenix Open website.

Who is golfing this year?

Popular golfers like Rickie Fowler, Phil Mickelson, Jon Rahm and Jordan Spieth are some of the golfers headlining the field.

Which celebrities are golfing in the Pro-Am?

If you head out to the course on Wednesday during the open, you can expect to catch a glimpse of Cardinals greats, Larry Fitzgerald, Patrick Peterson and Bruce Arians along with other athletes like Michael Phelps and Emmitt Smith.

Where's the music?

Flo Rida, OneRepublic, Zedd and Nelly are set to headline the Coors Light Birds Nest concert series.
