The Arizona Cardinals introduced their new head coach Steve Wilks at a press conference Tuesday, starting a new era for the team.

Though the Arizona job is his first as an NFL head coach, he's confident he can get the job done.

"You guys made the right decision," he said. "I really believe that."

Wilks also mentioned that he knew many people are interested in the quarterback situation, saying the team would be "active and aggressive" in free agency, then regroup before the draft.

Wilks said he'd reached out to star wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald but had not yet received any indication whether Fitz intends to return for another year to play under Wilks.

The new head man also said he didn't anticipate changing the Cardinals' base 3-4 defense, which finished sixth in total defense league-wide last season, saying "if it's not broke, don't try to fix it."
