Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald still has not made any decisions as to his 2018 future. His decision will come soon, though.
Appearing on NFL Network on Sunday, Fitzgerald actually gave a timetable.
“I haven’t made any definitive decisions,” he said to Rich Eisen. “I’ll be ready in a week or two.”
A lot has to do with the direction the team takes with personnel, but Fitgerald suggests he likes what he sees.
“I’m excited about what the future holds,” he said. “Obviously, there are still things that need to happen in terms of personnel — the draft and things like that — to help our team improve.”
He expressed confidence in the team to make the right moves.
This all sounds like someone who is simply taking his time to officially announce what many feel is inevitable. If he were retiring, he probably would have already announced it.
