After making history Sunday against the 49ers, linebacker Karlos Dansby can add another accolade to his resume.

The star linebacker for the Cardinals earned NFC Defensive Player of the week honors after his impressive performance of seven tackles, one sack and one interception Sunday.

With his interception against the 49ers, Dansby also became a member of the 40-sack/20-interception club.

Now, @Karlosdansby56 is NFC Defensive Player of the Week.

He is just the fifth player in NFL history to join this elite club.

According to a release from the Cardinals, this is the second Defensive Player of the Week award in his career.

Dansby looks to build on his impressive performance as the Cardinals face the Seattle Seahawks this Thursday at University of Phoenix Stadium.
