PHOENIX - On Thursday, the Arizona Cardinals released running back Kerwynn Williams and elevated tight end Hakeem Valles from the team's practice squad.

Valles joined the Cardinals organization as an undrafted free agent out of Monmouth and spent the first four weeks of the regular season on the practice squad.

The tight end played in all 22 games in his final two collegiate seasons.

During his senior season, he had 22 receptions for 236 yards and also was as a team captain.
