For the first time in what seems like forever, Arizona Diamondbacks fans will have the opportunity to root for more than just a couple familiar faces in the MLB All-Star Game.
Paul Goldschmidt, the team's sole representative last year, will be joined by Zack Greinke, Jake Lamb and Robbie Ray in Miami on July 11.
This will mark Goldschmidt's fifth consecutive All-Star Game appearance. He currently, as of this post, leads the MLB in RBIs.
Greinke will be making his fourth consecutive appearance while Lamb, who is just behind Goldschmidt in RBIs, and Ray make their first.
The four-player selection is the most the D-Backs have had since six players represented the team in 2002, according to MLB.com's Steve Gilbert. That game ended in a tie when both sides ran out of pitching.
None of the D-backs players, however, were elected to start.
