PHOENIX - The son of former Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt was arrested Wednesday, accused of sex with a minor.
According to court paperwork, Kenneth Whisenhunt Jr. has been indicted on six counts of sexual conduct with a minor. All the encounters were with the same teen between March and December of last year.
Court documents show the victim was between 15 and 17 years old at the time of the contact.
The 26-year-old Whisenhunt was booked on $10,000 bond. If he posts bond and is released, he will be subject to electronic monitoring.
Whisenhunt's father, Ken Whisenhunt, coached the Cardinals from 2007-2012, including the 2008 season when the team reached the Super Bowl. He compiled a 45-51 record in Arizona.
