UCLA coach Jim Mora said that because the NCAA banned two-a-day practices, the team added more one-day workouts, practicing during summer school for the first time since Mora has been the coach, the Los Angeles Times reported.

According to some of the odds makers in Las Vegas, Mora needs all the practice for his team he can get.

The Bruins coach starts the season as the favorite by the SportsBettingDime to be the first coach fired, at 9/1, with a pretty solid lead over Todd Graham of Arizona State and Rich Rodriguez of Arizona at 15/1.

Mora is 41-24 in five seasons with the Bruins and is coming off his worst, 4-8 last year. He had two 10-3 teams, but those teams went to the Sun Bowl and Alamo Bowl. Fans are getting restless because the school's last Rose Bowl appearance was 1999.

Graham has had back-to-back losing seasons with the Sun Devils and Rodriguez's team was 3-9 last season.

Three SEC coaches are next up, Arkansas' Brett Bielema is 16/1, Gus Malzahn from Auburn is 17/1 and Kevin Sumlin at Texas A&M is 18/1.

Lane Kiffin, who will begin his first season at Florida Atlantic, is on the list at 25/1.
