DAYTON, Ohio - What a whirlwind 48 hours for the Arizona State Sun Devils. After receiving a bid into the tournament, the Devils were en route to Dayton, Ohio as a No. 11 seed to play No. 11 Syracuse.
The weather conditions were a lot cooler than in Tempe, roughly 35 degrees with a massive wind chill.
"The weather...is kind of better in Tempe I would say," ASU senior guard Shannon Evans said.
Right away, the Devils went to work.
"There's kind of a renewed life, we're definitely enthusiastic," ASU head basketball coach Bobby Hurley said.
