The best power soccer teams in the country will be competing this weekend in Indiana at the MK Battery Conference Cup Championship series.
The top 30 teams will play in three conference cups to determine champions, including the Premier Cup, which will be for the title of the best power soccer team in the country.
For those not familiar with the sport, power soccer is a game played by athletes with disabilities on a basketball court.
The game is similar to able-bodied soccer, except the athletes play in electric wheelchairs. There are goals, corner kicks and yellow cards, just like its able-bodied namesake.
Each team has three offensive players and one goalie, and games consist of two 20-minute halves.
For more information on the sport, you can visit the United States Power Soccer Association website.
There will be an Arizona connection during the tournament as two Arizona State University graduates will be competing in the Premier Cup Championship.
Katie and Jordan Dickey are ASU alums and currently play on the RHI Sudden Impact.
The two previously played for the Sun Devil Power Soccer team and won a national title with the club in 2014.
After the national championships this weekend, Jordan will play for Team USA in the FIPFA World Cup in Florida this July.
