Most of us, thankfully, will never know what it's like to fly through the wall and into the eye of a hurricane.
But for the "Hurricane Hunters" at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, it's just another day on the job.
Captain Tim Gallagher of NOAA shared a video on Twitter showing his flight into Hurricane Matthew when it was a Category 4.

Using a modified aircraft meant for tracking storms, they flew directly into Matthew's eye wall -- the roughest part of the storm.
