The heroes are back -- this time in a new mini-series on NBC called "Heroes Reborn."
"It's amazing to be back," said Jack Coleman, better known as Glasses Man, HRG or Noah Bennet. His character is still investigating what's behind the enhanced humans and their superpowers.
"How many times does a show go off the air for five years and you get a chance to come back?" Coleman asked.
That doesn't happen very often. But when it does, there are plenty of new characters, too. That includes Luke, played by Zachary Levi.
"I'm a comic book and video game kid," Levi said. "I grew up loving people with abilities and powers and wishing to God one day, being like, 'I can fly ....' Still waiting on that."
His counterpart in the new show is Judi Shekoni, who plays Joanne.
"I want to read minds," she said, talking about what superpower she would love to have.
Heroes Reborn will be on for 13 weeks, but don't ask Levi what you'll see. Because this is all he'll tell you:
"It's like chapters of a book," he said. "And you really get to make it lean and mean and you get to make every episode mean something."
Heroes Reborn premieres Thursday night at 7 p.m. on 12 News.
