You can now decorate your Christmas tree with these sweet-looking conchas!

The word "concha" in Spanish means "shell" in English.

These are probably the best Christmas ornaments you have ever seen. Well, they're the best I've seen, at least.

I've interviewed Kathy Cano "Crafty Chica" for quite some time now and she's awesome.

With the holidays here, I thought this Facebook Live would be perfect for many who are trying to decorate their Christmas trees a little differently this year.

Concha Christmas ornaments!

The word "concha" in Spanish means "shell" in English. It's also a word that many use to say seashell.

Growing up, the concha was and is still such an important family tradition of mine. It means the unity of my family, laughter, warmth and most of all, welcoming.

Scrolling through my Facebook feed, I saw that Kathy had created concha ornaments. I couldn't pass on this.

So, I contacted her right away and something she said stuck with me.

She said that this is a concha's time. With everything happening in politics and society as a whole, many have used conchas in memes, powerful quotes and stories in representation of the Latino/Hispanic culture.

There is also word that a group of girls is working to give the concha its own national holiday.

Power to the concha!

You need to watch the entire video so you can make these sweet-looking concha ornaments for your tree.

If you decide to make them, I want to see them. So, go ahead and use our hashtag #BeOn12 or tweet me @ozzy_mora.
