The beauty of dance is that it has its own voice.
It’s a voice that brings people together and at times brings an entire community to dance.
"Now, it's not just any old dance party -- it's like epic," said Kristine Reich, a board member for Voices for CASA and owner of Euthopia Fitness and Dance.
Phoenix native and America's Got Talent contestant Oscar Hernandez will be hosting an epic dance party along with Voices for CASA Children, which assists foster children through the legal system.
Voices for CASA Children is nonprofit organization dedicated in supporting Court Appointed Special Advocates to help guide foster children.
"We want to bring good energy and lots of -- I love this word -- altruism into the world of self-awareness of what we can do for children who are in foster care," said Kristine.
Ruby Kicks Dance Party will have professional dance instructors and the awesome thing is that you don't even have to be a dancer.
The host of the party is the talented Oscar Hernandez, who you might recognize from his viral dance performance with the Arizona Rattlers in 2015, as well as AGT.
"This amazing charity event called Ruby Kicks is something I believe in as well. I believe every kid should have a home," said Hernandez.
Oscar still lives in Arizona after his once-in-a-lifetime experience on AGT, but life after the show has been different for him.
"I go shopping with my sister or with my nieces and I am constantly being stopped, people ask for pictures, people are crying, telling me their story," said Oscar.
And boy he can dance.
"I am all about kids and helping them," said Oscar.
Most of the proceeds will go to Voice for CASA Children.
Especially with the holidays coming up, this dance party is a way to help lift these children's spirits.
The event will be held at the Boys & Girls Club at Thompson Peak in Scottsdale on Saturday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
The cost is $30 to join the dance party along with Oscar and Eutopia Fitness & Dance. If you just wish to participate without dancing, the cost is just $10.
Don’t forget to bring your ruby red shoes!
