PHOENIX - Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is scheduled to lead a rally for his campaign in Prescott Valley Tuesday afternoon.
The event comes on the heels of the New York Times reporting details of Trump's 1995 tax returns.
Whether Trump actually avoided paying federal taxes for a possible 18 years after claiming a $916 million loss is unclear, but it would not be against the law.
A tax lawyer interviewed by USA Today said there are major write-off benefits for real estate investors and developers.
Now all eyes are on Trump for something he has not addressed much further than saying "that makes me smart" during the recent presidential debate.
The rally is set for 2 p.m. at the Prescott Valley Event Center Tuesday. The doors to the venue open at 11 a.m.
