PHOENIX - The Democratic Party is working hard this week to turn Arizona blue.

Three of the party's top Hillary Clinton surrogates will be visiting the state between Tuesday and Thursday.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders will be in Flagstaff and Tucson Tuesday, Clinton's daughter Chelsea will visit Arizona State's Tempe campus Wednesday and First Lady Michelle Obama will visit the Valley Thursday.

It appears the Clinton campaign has taken its clue from some polls that have indicated Arizona may be more up for grabs than any previous election in the recent past.

The state's electoral votes have gone to a Democrat just once in 68 years.

The time and place of the First Lady's visit have not yet been announced, but the logistics are set for the other two surrogates.
