If the results of a new poll hold true for the general election, Hillary Clinton could be on her way to turning Arizona blue.
The poll, released by Emerson College Thursday, shows Hillary Clinton has taken a lead in Arizona for the first time by a margin of 44 percent to 42 percent over her Republican counterpart Donald Trump.
The poll results also showed Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson with 9 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein with 1 percent, while 6 percent of Arizona voters polled remain unsure.
Clinton leads by a huge margin in Rhode Island while the presidential candidates are tied in Nevada and Trump leads by 1 percent in Florida, according to the poll results.
The polls for Florida, Arizona, Nevada and Rhode Island polls were conducted in English and Spanish from Oct. 2-4.
