FRISCO, Texas -- Nobody likes getting a ticket, but usually people don't fight it - at least not like this.
When a Texas man realized that he had no way of getting out of a $220 ticket, NBC Chicago said he decided to pay it - in pennies.
Brett Sanders came into the Frisco, Texas Municipal Court with 5 gallon buckets loaded down with pennies and dumped them on the counter.
"It felt great," Sanders told NBC. "It really felt great."
Interestingly enough, he actually overpaid and the city now owes him $7.81 according to NBC.
What legal tender the city uses to pay him back remains to be seen.
