AHWATUKEE, Ariz. - On Monday morning, just after midnight, the Knowles had quite the wake-up call outside their house.

"I was kind of scared to go down there," said Matthew Knowles, who heard a loud crash near his bedroom window.

"Matthew came and knocked on my door," said his sister Jaslynn. "He's like, 'Somebody crashed! We have to go look.'"

As they made their way outside, Matthew and Jaslynn's dad, Mike, looked at house surveillance and watched a truck plow into two of the neighbor's cars parked on the street and in the driveway.

The driver got out, talked with a different neighbor and then bolted, on foot, from the scene.

"We drove around the neighborhood to look for the guy," said Jaslynn.

They didn't find him. Phoenix police said the driver is still on the loose.

"I'm glad no one was hurt," said Mike. "I mean anyone could be walking down the sidewalk and get killed just like that."
