GLENDALE, Ariz. - Law enforcement authorities shot a fugitive and another person in a stolen vehicle near 51st and Northern avenues Thursday night, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

The suspects were wanted for kidnapping, U.S. Marshals officials said. They did not give any update on the suspects' condition.

Another person was taken into custody.

Glendale police officials said the fugitive was wanted for multiple felonies by both local and federal agencies.

The U.S. Marshals said police would handle the investigation surrounding the shooting.
