PHOENIX – Wednesday morning the Phoenix Zoo fed the squirrel monkeys with an organic Thanksgiving Day meal.
“This is my favorite day of the year honestly,” said Amy Dietz with the zoo.”It's a new way to present their food. We give the monkeys their food in a different way every single day.”
The monkeys were released from their night house just before 10 a.m.
Two tables were set up with festive decorations.
All of the food was catered to the monkey’s diets.
