SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Tavern Americana on Hayden Road north of Loop 101 is creating the perfect marriage. Beer-infused pizza crust, sauce and ingredients. 

"The beer brings out extra flavor in our ingredients. From bitter to citrus notes, all aspects of the beer elevate the pizza flavors," said Ian Ray, executive chef at Tavern Americana. 

The wood-fired pizzas range from classic margherita and pesto chicken to fig & prosciutto, buffalo chicken, mad Hawaiian, veggie and more. 

This Thursday starting at 5 p.m., Tavern Americana is hosting a pizza party with Lagunitas beer samples, free giveaways and, of course, plenty of beer-infused pizza.
