Police have arrested a man suspected of shooting at two Phoenix officers on Sunday.
Derek M. Johnson, 23, was arrested after he allegedly fired one shot through a patrol car's windshield, according to Phoenix PD.
A stretch of Interstate 17 was shut down for multiple hours Sunday while police searched for the shooting suspect.

Johnson also had an outstanding warrant for a December 2016 armed robbery, police said. During that incident, he allegedly robbed a business at gunpoint with three other suspects.
Police found Johnson at a home near 2300 W Hayward Avenue and arrested him without incident on Thursday.
He was booked into jail for attempted first degree murder and armed robbery.
