MESA, Ariz. - Jade Coyle, 9, has been found safe after she returned home late Monday morning, police said.

Police say she is in good health and detectives are working to figure out her whereabouts for the past 24 hours.

Jade left her house about 10 a.m. Sunday and didn't return, according to the Mesa Police Department.

Sgt. Diana Williams said Jade has a history of leaving her home, but she does not run away. She generally visits with friends and neighbors, but this time she didn't come back.
