PHOENIX - Eric Wolfe was sentenced to 3 years supervised probation for falsifying his military service.

Wolfe previously pleaded guilty in September to two counts of forgery.

Wolfe used a forged document to get license plates designated for veterans for his car and another for his new motorcycle, according to investigators.

Wolfe was arrested by the Arizona Department of Transportation's detectives, after he submitted a falsified DD form 214 to the Motor Vehicle Division that would allow him to get the special license designation.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Inspector General determined Wolfe never served in the U.S. Air Force as he claimed.
