PEORIA, Ariz. - Two boys got a surprise for their birthdays when Peoria police officers, firefighters and park rangers stopped by their party after half of the guests didn't come.
According to Peoria Police Department, a mother called the police station when half of the family didn't show up to brothers Sergio's and Javier's birthday party.
From there, officers gathered a group to go celebrate the boys' birthdays.
The mother thanked the Peoria PD on Facebook.
"You don't know how greatful (sic.) I am to have such wonderful people like you in our lives day in and day out!'" she commented.
According to her post, Sergio said it was "the best birthday ever."
Sergio turned 9 and Javier turned 7.
